PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent an indoor heat exchanger from being frozen by deciding that the temperature of the indoor heat exchanger detected by an indoor heat exchanger temperature detecting means reaches the temperature of the indoor heat exchanger preset to an indoor pipeline temperature storing means and specifying the minimum flow rate which is the restricted quantity of a pressure reducing device based on the decided output in a multistage. SOLUTION: When a cooling operation is started, the temperature of an indoor heat exchanger 2 is detected by an indoor heat exchanger temperature detecting means and it is decided that the detected temperature of the indoor heat exchanger 2 reaches the temperature of the indoor heat exchanger 2 preset to an indoor pipeline temperature storing means, the pulse of the restricted quantity of a pressure reducing device 4 is varied in two stages in accordance with the decided output so that a minimum flow rate is specified. Thus, since the pulse of the restricted quantity of the pressure reducing device 4 is specified in two stages, as the indoor pipeline temperature is lowered, the indoor heat exchanger 2 can be prevented from freezing. |
