REMOTE SUPERVISORY AND CONTROLLING SYSTEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform supervisory and control in terms of hardwares using optical signals at a remote location even when an outside-of-station communication equipment malfunctions. SOLUTION: This system is provided with an intra-station communication equipment 2, the outside-of-station communication equipment 1 and an optical fiber 8 for connecting the intrastation communication equipment 2 and the outside-of-station communication equipment 1. The optical fiber 8 is the transmission medium of communication signals and the control signals of the outside-of-station communication equipment 1, the intra-station communication equipment 2 is provided with a monitoring device 3 for monitoring the abnormality of communication and a controller 4 for controlling the outside-of-station communication equipment 1 through the optical fiber 8 and the outside-of-station communication equipment 1 is provided with a switch controller 5 for receiving the signals from the controller 4 provided in the intra-station communication equipment 2, the switch of the main power source of the outsideof- station communication equipment 1 controlled by the switch controller 5 and the reactivation switch 7 of the software of the outside-of-station communication equipment 1. The one for the communication and the one for the control are respectively individually provided for the optical fiber 8.
