<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To mechanically change pitch between signal wires, accurately adjust connector pitch, and enhance rate of operation by forcing the pitch between signal wires of a flat cable having different dimension from connector pitch to make equal in the lump. SOLUTION: A flat cable exposes two signal wires S, S, and a ground wire G by removing a vinyl jacket 5 of each core of the terminal. An insulating body 2 of each signal wire S is removed, and a conductor 3 is exposed, terminal treatment is performed before pre-forming. Each peak of a pre-forming jig 1 is arranged so as to wedge between two signal wires of each core, the flat cable is pressed from the upper part, and two signal wires S, S are spread so as to become more distant each other. The ground conductor 4 is spread by being pushed with one signal wire spread. The signal wire S is spread by slipping down a part of the insulating body 2 along the conical slope of the reforming jig 1.</p> |
