<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a radar-image processing apparatus whose dependence on a local component as a point is reduced when a target on a radar image is collated with a shape model. SOLUTION: The output of a radar-image generation device 11 is binarized by a region division device 13 on the basis of a threshold from a threshold storage device 12, a region is divided into related pixels, the area of every region is computed by a rearrangement device 14, a data point train (regarding region numbers and areas) is generated, the data point train is rearranged according to the areas, the value of the areas is factor-converted in such a way that their mean value becomes 1, and a frequency distribution is generated as a radar image pattern by using a corrected value. Then, a correlation between the pattern and a shape model pattern stored in a pattern storage device 16 is evaluated by a pattern collation device 17, and an agreement degree with a shape model is computed and displayed regarding every area by using a pattern collation result by a region-probability-value computing device 18.</p> |
