摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a secondary battery with high discharge capacity and long life by using meso-phase carbon microbeads irradiated with electron beams in a negative plate. SOLUTION: In a secondary battery having a positive plate and a negative plate through a separator, and an electrolyte filled between the positive plate and the negative plate, capable of controlling internal resistance, meso-phase carbon microbeads (MCMB) irradiated with electron beams is used in the negative plate. The negative electrode of the lithium secondary battery is improved by the simple method, and the secondary battery with long life, stable charge/ discharge characteristic, and capable of controlling discharge capacity is obtained.
