PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an oxygen shortage sensor for correctly detecting abnormal combustion such as in oxygen shortage without requiring any special piping and to obtain a high sensor output at normal combustion and a low sensor output in oxygen shortage time. SOLUTION: In the oxygen shortage sensor 8, holes 2 are formed at least at one portion of a bottomed tubular cylinder 1 to guide combustion gas to the inside of the cylinder or holes are formed at least at one portion of a ceramic cylinder to guide combustion gas to the inside of the cylinder. Also, by adjusting the tip position of the sensor 8, the sensor output is set high and low at the time of normal combustion and oxygen shortage, respectively. |
