PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coulometric detector with a small capacity for selectively eliminating an interference substance or separating two types of substances to be analyzed and its manufacturing method. SOLUTION: The detector is a coulometric electrode consist of a circular pattern or a single or plurality of concentric patterns or a plurality of concentric patterns and at least one of the electrodes consists of a porous thin-film electrode. Then, a conductive thin film is prepared on an insulation substrate to form a thin-film electrode, the electrode is covered with an insulation film, and only an electrode portion is exposed. The coluometric electrode consisting of porous carbon film is formed, at least, at one electrode of the electrodes and a macromolecular film whose inside is cut in circular shape is held by a substrate where the electrode is formed and an opposing block, thus forming a thin-layer cell. |
