Male/female electrical connection assembly for motor vehicle cabling

The connection assembly includes male (6) and female (4) electrical connectors which have outer covers with multiple socket connections. The units plug together at one end, with the open ended cover from one connector sliding over the cover of the second unit. The first unit has an electrical extension from the socket section to a spring metal socket (26) protruding into a matching plug area. The second unit has a plug extension piece (44) connected to its socket unit which slide into the connected socket of the first unit.
