PAIR COLLATION SYSTEM FOR BRANCH LIGHT LINE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a pair collation of the branch light line with an arbitrary downstream-side optical fiber. SOLUTION: This system consists of one upstream-side optical fiber 1, plural downstream-side optical fibers 3-1-3-n, an optical branching means 4 which couples the upstream-side optical fiber 1 and downstream-side optical fibers 3-1-3-n, a signal input means 8 for pair collation which is provided for the upstream-side fiber 1 and receives signal light for pair collation, and a signal light photodetecting means for pair collation which detects the pair collation signal light by emitting it out of the optical fiber; and the pair collation signal is a light signal which is transmitted while characteristic maintenance wavelength assigned to each of the downstream-side optical fiber is switched at constant intervals of time and a light branching means passes wavelength light for communication through all the downstream-side optical fibers and then passes it through only the optical fiber corresponding to the assigned maintenance wavelength light.
