<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air conditioner having a sterilizer which makes it possible to remove harmful bacteria and offensive odor generated by the bacteria. SOLUTION: The air conditioner with sterilizer comprises an indoor unit body 1, an evaporator 10 internally provided in the body to cool the indoor air by heat exchanging with the indoor air, a fan 30 for sucking the indoor air to pass it through the evaporator and forcibly discharging the air cooled by the evaporator into the room, and an ultraviolet lamp 20 provided at the downstream side of the evaporator to sterilize the floated bacteria included in the air discharged into the room via the evaporator by the drive of the fan.</p> |
