PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the occurrence of image deterioration in toner image due to paper powder by removing the paper powder incorporated in toner, which remains after a transfer and is recovered to a cleaning member, before the paper powder is carried to a developing device. SOLUTION: As a paper powder removing means, a brush 16, whose top end part abuts on the periphery of a cleaning roller 12, is used. Then, a brush attaching bracket 18 is fixed in a cleaning case 17 and the base end part of the brush 16 is fixedly provided on a supporting plate 19 fixed on the bracket 18. The brush top end part on the free end side of the brush 16 abuts on the periphery of the cleaning roller 12. While the roller 12 is rotated to recover the toner remaining on a photoreceptor 1 after the transfer to the roller 12 is performed, the brush 16 scrapes/removes the paper powder incorporated in the toner. Since the paper powder is removed before it goes to the developing device 4, the intrusion of the paper powder into the developing device 4 can be prevented and the occurrence of the deterioration in the image quality of the toner image due to the paper powder can be prevented as well. |
