PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device having a rational position relation between an intermediate transfer sheet and a photoreceptive drum. SOLUTION: This image forming device possesses two photoreceptive drums 9A and 9B, and transfers a latent image formed on the photoreceptive drum on a recording medium through the intermediate transfer sheet 26. An intermediate transfer drum 11 is constituted of the intermediate transfer sheet 26, and rollers 57, 58 and 58 having pressing force toward the inner surface of the intermediate transfer sheet 26 and rotating by being brought into contact with the inner surface and separating from the inner surface by a specified distance by the rotation of a fixing part 78 are disposed at the inside of the intermediate transfer drum 11. Then, when an arrangement angle formed by the rotation center of the intermediate transfer drum 11 and the rotation centers of the photoreceptive drums 9A and 9B is made asθ, the diameter of the intermediate transfer drum 11 as X, the length of an image transferred on the recording medium in a feeding direction as Y and the length of the fixing part 78 in a rotation direction as Z, the photoreceptive drums 9A and 9B are arranged in the range of the angle controlled byθ<=360-360(X+Z)/Xπ.
