PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the distance measurement probability without any restriction when bundles of rays for distance measurement are tried to be secured greatly by arranging distance measurement module sensors cross-shapedly in the directions crossing each other such as in the horizontal direction and the vertical direction. SOLUTION: The distance measuring device consists of a separator lens 31 and a solid image pick-up element chip 32, and light receiving sensor units are arranged in the directions crossing each other so as to be used as distance measuring modules, and on the basis of electric signals for a plurality of pairs of subjects to be photographed, a distance to the subject is measured. In a plurality of bundles of rays from the separator lens 31 to the image pick-up element chip 32, the optical paths are restricted only by the distance measuring modules themselves. |
