PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve adhesion property to a thermal head and to obtain a heat transfer image receiving tag having excellent reproducibility by applying a dye layer containing butadiene and a specified binder on a tag base body to form an image receiving layer. SOLUTION: The image receiving layer 14 is formed by applying a dye resin containing butadiene and a binder having -60 to 2 deg.C glass transition temp. such as styrene-butadiene copolymer or acrylonitrile-butadiene copolymer by 3g/m<2> to 40g/m<2> coating amt. It is preferably that except for the binder, a powder (filler), dispersant and thickener are compounded to the dye resin. The image receiving layer is preferably subjected to calendering after the dye is applied on the tag base body. Thereby, the surface of the transfer image receiving tag 14 is rather made soft, which increases adhesion to a thermal head and a transfer sheet (ribbon). Thus, the heat from the thermal head can be effectively used and excellent reproducibility can be obtd. |
