<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the complicatedness of assembling a steering device following the aligning of a neutral position for both an angular velocity sensor and a steering roll connector with the neutral position of a steering wheel. SOLUTION: An angular velocity sensor for detecting the rotational position of a steering wheel is integrally provided in a steering roll connector and composed of a detecting disk 9 fixed to a rotator 3 and a photointerruptor 10 fixed to a stator 2. The detecting disk 9 is provided with a number of fine slits 9a arranged at equal intervals on a circumference around the rotational center of the rotator 3 and the photointerruptor 10 is arranged in a position opposite the turning track of the slit 9a of the detecting disk 9.</p> |
