<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nonmagnetic one-component developing method by which a good image without ghost can be formed to be preserved for a long time. SOLUTION: This method includes a process to form a latent image on a latent image holding body, a process to form a toner image on the latent image holding body by using a developer on a developer carrying body, and a process to transfer the toner image to a transfer body. In this method, a cylindrical base body having a coating film of molybdenum oxide hydrate essentially comprising Mo, O and H formed on the body is used as the developer carrying body. As for the developer, a magnetic one-component developer containing a binder resin and a magnetic powder and having 30 to 50μC/g absolute value of the charge amt. is used.</p> |
