PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide video data corresponding to karaoke swing along music of a huge number even when the total amount of video data to be stored is small. SOLUTION: Upon the receipt of a request of the user through a MODEM 42, an input output control section 22 commands read and transfer of a caption video (AV) stream and a background video BGV stream to a storage device control section 25. The storage device control section 25 reads the BGV stream from BGV storage devices 26a-26c and reads the AV stream from AV storage devices 27a-27c and transfers them, then a multiplexer 30 separates the AV stream into the caption stream and the audio stream and builds up a video stream from the caption stream and the BGV stream and applies time division multiplex to the audio stream and the video stream to provide an output of a video audio stream.
