PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a current collector layer from being separated from a solid electrolyte layer, or prevent a crack from appearing on the superposed part of the solid electrolyte layer and the current collector layer after a sintering process. SOLUTION: Regarding this cylindrical cell for a fuel cell, a current collector layer 35 is formed on the surface of the cell body of the fuel cell having a fuel electrode 33 on one side of a solid electrolyte layer 31 and an air electrode layer 32 on the other side thereof, so as to be electrically connected to the fuel electrode layer 33 or an air electrode layer 32 on the internal surface of the solid electrolyte layer 31 in such a state as partly stacked on the surface of the solid electrolyte layer 31. In this case, the thickness of the solid electrolyte layer 31 is kept at a value between 10μm and 50μm, and the ratio of the thickness of the current collector layer 35 to the thickness of the solid electrolyte layer 31 (thickness of current collector layer 35/thickness of solid electrolyte layer 31) is taken at a value between 1.05 and 2.0.
