MULTI-SPECTRUM TELECOMMUNICATION OPTICAL SIGNAL MONITOR, AND TRANSMISSION EQUIPMENT WITH SUCH MONITOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To monitor a spectrum multiplex electric communication optical signal for a plurality of different channels by extracting a part corresponding to each channel in an extracted signal part through filtering and measuring an optical output level per channel in the signal part. SOLUTION: A monitor installation 10 includes a filtering extract means 11 to receive a part of an optical signal extracted by a photocoupler 1 to extract a part corresponding to various channels of a spectrum multiplex optical signal. The monitor installation 10 includes a means 12 measuring an optical output as to each channel obtained by the filtering extract means 11 from the optical signal extracted partly by the photocoupler 1. The output measurement means 12 is in cooperation with the filtering extract means 11 and the photocoupler 11 of an input means to measure an optical lever per channel. Thus, the part corresponding to each channel in the signal part is extracted by filtering and the optical output level per channel in the signal part is measured.
