PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lighting system that has a constant-current method, supply sufficient preheating power to an illumination load, and improve lamp life. SOLUTION: This system uses a current transformer CT2n ((n) is a natural number) having a compensator winding Nc, both ends of the compensator winding Nc of the current transformer CT2n being connected to both ends of an electric discharge lamp La2 via switches SW1n ((n) as a natural number), so that a preheating circuit for filaments f1, f2 is composed of the compensator winding Nc of the current transformer CT2n and the switches SW1n. |
