PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To minimize the sliding in a contact part as much as possible and provide a switch device having a contact part never worn by long-term use by specifying the structure of a switch device for selectively operating a plurality of switch elements. SOLUTION: This switch device has a case 61 opened in the bottom surface and having a holder 64 in the inner part; a movable contact body 92 fixed to the holder 64 and having a movable contact piece 95; an operation knob for performing a switching; a driving body (slider) 76 firmly held by the operation knob 62 through an elliptic hole 73 formed on the case 61 to horizontally reciprocate and having a locking part 76b for pressing the movable contact piece 95 downward by this reciprocation, and a printed board 65 inserted into the case 1 and having a fixed contact 104 conducted when the movable contact piece makes contact with it by the oscillation of the movable contact piece 95. Since ON/OFF control is performed by the oscillation of the movable contact piece 95, the contact part is never worn.
