摘要 The support (4) is guided on aline in a datum plane (3) at a set distance from a dividing plane parallel to it. On the other side of the latter plane is a supporting base (1) forming a coordinate system (XYZ), and which is held by a guide (8) so that the Y-axis is in a constant position parallel to the straight line, while the X-axis intersects it at right angles. Two levers (10, 12) of different lengths hinge on axes parallel to the plane defined by the X- and Y-axes, and are coupled at their ends to a double-armed lever (18), on whose free end is the support, the levers being swung on the base by a drive mechanism, their lengths being such as to move the support in a straight line within a limited angular movement. The levers swing through less than 180 deg., the pivot point (11, 13) of one of them being moved by an auxiliary drive mechanism (15) in the plane defined by the X- and Y-axes when both levers are in an end position. This causes the support to move away from the datum plane and towards the base. The auxiliary drive mechanism can also be used for corrective movements, improving the accuracy of guidance of the support.
