The closure has an aperture (4) in the can's (1) cover (2), with a pull tab (5) on it. There is also an operating part (6) connected to the cover. Their point of connection has projecting extensions at each end, one for use as a hand grip (9) and the other as an opening projection (10) to press on the tab. The operating part can be turned parallel to the cover by its hand grip over the emptying aperture. The hand grip itself then acts as a closure (11) with an outline shaped to cover the clear cross section of the emptying aperture.
