The connector consists of a pair of elements with housings having a matrix of connection holes 1i that lead to internal contacts. The internal contact region of the connector is sealed against entry of water by a sealing insert 4. The insert has a number of formed plugs 4g and these fit securely into holes in the connector body for secure location and retention.
