Chip card security data checking device

The device uses a read/write unit for the chip card and a reception unit (A1) fitted with at least 2 interchangeable carrier elements (S1,S2,S3,S4) for storing a secret code used for real-time verification of the chip card. Each carrier element corresponds to a different chip card type. Each carrier is coupled to the reception unit via a physical interface (C1,C2,C3,C5,C7). There is a further physical interface (X1) between the removable reception unit and the data checking device.
