The door comprises an inner wall (4) which for the most part runs between an outer wall (3) of the door and a window regulator (5). In a vertical section of the door body, the inner wall has two trough-type bulges (9,11), one lying in the region of the door trim and the other near a door railing (10), both of whose bottom sections are welded or bonded with the outer wall of the door (1). The inner wall extends between the window regulator and a strengthening profile (12) running in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle. The inner wall has a trough-type bulge (14) on both side edge regions, which in the closing position of the both side edge regions, which in the closing position of the vehicle's door migrates towards the vehicles interior (b). The inner wall is for the most part covered by an inner door panel (16) lying on the three trough-type bulges.
