Operational element for switching and regulating in building control system

The element supplies regulation settings to a bus system, using application modules and a bus coupler with loadable software, where the bus system comprises further bus couplers and user interfaces allowing actions to be performed at other locations. The operational element comprises at least two modules providing different functions (1,2,3,4). The evaluation of the functions is at least partially performed in the corresponding bus coupler in a locally associated functional range. The operational element is pluggable onto the bus coupler, requiring only an under-the-wall box as an housing. The element is pref. adapted to provide analog and digital signals to the bus coupler, which contains filter arrangements to process the signals.
