In order to be able to provide a security closure which is suitable for securing different sized openings the present invention provides a door frame assembly comprising two uprights (1, 3) and at least one connecting member (5, 7), and at least one upright cheek member (9, 11) which is movable adjustably laterally with respect to an associated one of the uprights whereby the width of the door frame assembly is adjustable. The uprights are preferably U-shaped channel members as viewed horizontally in section to receive in a laterally slidable manner said upright cheek member. Means is provided for securing the cheek member with respect to the upright. A door is hingedly secured to one upright.
