The invention relates to an exchange device for a blow lance (1) having a blowpipe (20) and a cooling jacket (30) surrounding the blowpipe (20) and through which coolant can flow, the inlet and outlet (34, 35) of which are arranged at the end of the blow lance (1) allocated to a coupling head (2). The coupling head (2) has an attachment (7) into which this end of the blow lance (1) can be introduced and comprises the connections (4, 12, 13) for the coolant inlet, coolant outlet and blower fluid supply. The blow lance (1) can be releasably coupled to the coupling head, where at least the inlet (34) or the outlet (35) of the coolant jacket (30) open on a circumferential surface of the blow lance (1) and where the connection (12, 13) allocated to the inlet (34) or the outlet (35) is arranged on a side surface of the attachment (7) allocated to the circumferential surface concerned. When the blow lance (1) is inserted into the attachment (7) of the coupling head, the blowpipe (20) is engaged with and tightly secured to a pipe union (6) of the attachment (7) which is connected to the blowing fluid supply. In addition, with the blow lance (1) inserted into the attachment (7) of the coupling head (2), a chamber (40, 41), especially an annular chamber, is formed in the region of the union (12) for the coolant supply and/or the union (12) for the coolant outlet.
