<p>A process for the recovery of paint binder (I) from the slurry obtained by treating the overspray from paint booths with a coagulant, comprises: (i) heating the coagulated paint to above 100 degrees C; and (ii) glycolysis of the organic components with simultaneous evaporation and distillation of the water in the coagulate.</p>
