A diffusion hazer (10, Fig. 1) includes a housing 12 having an inlet (14, Fig. 1) and outlet (16, Fig. 1). A compressor 18 in the housing compresses air received from the inlet and drives the compressed air to the outlet. A nebuliser 24 is provided to contain a haze producing solution 32, a mixing jet 30 and an impingement surface 30. Pressurised air received by the nebuliser mixes with the solution in the mixing jet and drives the solution onto the impingement surface shattering particles of the solution. The shattered particles are carried by the driven air to exit the housing outlet and create a haze-like atmosphere. |
