<p>A dyeing apparatus comprises a vessel 1 to contain a dyeing liquid, a shaft 3 rotatable in vessel 1, an impeller 4a, 4b to flow the dyeing liquid in a direction parallel to the shaft and a reel 6 for an article 100 for dyeing, the impeller and reel being attached to the shaft. The reeled article is dyed by causing the liquid to pass by permeation through the article laterally by rotation of the impeller. The shaft may be reversed during dyeing.</p> |
