PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily form a double layer rubber roller while using rubber materials which are greatly different from each other in Mooney viscosity and a swell. SOLUTION: In a double layer rubber roller, an elastic body 13 is arranged concentrically with a metal spindle center 12, an elastic body 14 is formed around the elastic body 13, and the elastic body 13 and the elastic body 14 adhere to each other by vulcanization. After the elastic body 13 is formed by vulcanization, its outside diameter dimension is regulated, and then, unvulcanized elastic body 14 is vulcanized. By this production method based on vulcanization and adhesion of the elastic bodies 13, 14, production can be carried out easily even when rubber materials forming the elastic bodies 13, 14 are greatly different in viscosity and a swell, and durability of the double layer rubber roller can be improved. |
