PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a failure in the case that a signal transmission element for electric insulation is broken by simple constitution, to improve reliability while securing the electric insulation and to miniaturize a device. SOLUTION: To the device main body 1 of a high-frequency electric cautery device, an electrode 2 for treatments provided with a switch 4 and a counter electrode plate 3 are connected. Photocouplers 9a and 9b for the switch for transmitting the operation signals of the switch 4 in an insulated state are provided inside the device main body 1, and when the switch 4 is operated, pulse signals from a pulse generation circuit 7 are transmitted to a control circuit 6 by the photocouplers 9a and 9b for the switch. The control circuit 6 operates an oscillator 5 by binary signals defined by the supply/stoppage of pulse signal output from the photocouplers 9a and 9b for the switch and outputs a high-frequency current. |
