The user presses A key to confirm the received message. The microcomputer(10) in response to the input of A key, reads the message stored in RAM(12) and displays at the display part(16). When the user wants to protect the message, press B key. Then the microcomputer stores it in EEPROM(6) and the message(MSG3) is erased from the RAM(12). By handling B key, the user sets the received message to protected message and stores it in the non-volatile message and releases the protection of the message to erase.
