PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively prevent pollution for fungus such as colibacillus, Staphylococcus aureus or Salmonella by exhibiting an antibacterial function of an antibacterial agent, without injuring a coloring capacity, since it is possible to manifest an antibacterial property while maintaining a thermal recording function. SOLUTION: A thermal recording medium comprises a recording layer provided on a substrate and having as its main component a colorless or pale color dye precurser and a developer adapted to react with the dye precurser to provide coloring. One or more antibacterial agents are applied to surfaces of the thermal recording medium or contained in an interior thereof. |
