PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a secondary pump provided with a low temperature trap requiring smaller spatial size when the performance of an exhaust gas speed is equivalent to that by preceding technology. SOLUTION: The present invention is related to such a secondary pump for connecting a mechanical secondary pump 1 to a low temperature use trap 2 while the low temperature use trap 2 forms, on the air suction side, a ring for surrounding a mechanical secondary pump and the low temperature use trap 2 is received in a casing 4 for definitely sectioning mutually parallel air suction opening parts of the mechanical pump 1 and the low temperature use trap 2.
