<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an assembly that is inexpensive and of good productivity, related to a filter unit for use in a filter reproducing device for an internal combustion engine. SOLUTION: This filter reproducing device for an internal combustion engine includes a filter 16 for collecting particulates in exhaust gas, a holding member 17 mounted on the outer periphery of the filter 16, a filter storage cylinder 19 for storing the filter 16 and the holding member 17, and cylindrical connecting members 19, 20 mounted on both ends of the filter storage cylinder 18 and having surfaces 19a, 20a of connection between a heating space 14 and an annular waveguide 22. Also, the filter storage cylinder 18 and the connecting members 19, 20 are such that by causing a plurality of mounting pieces 42 provided at both ends of the filter storage cylinder 18 to be engaged in mounting holes 43 in the opposite connecting members 19, 20, the connecting members 19, 20 at both ends can be positioned easily and surely in their circumferential direction without the need for a positioning jig, resulting in enhanced productivity, and the like.</p> |
