PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily perform insertion to a forceps port even in the case of a jacket tube provided with an opening/closing piece on a tip part and to sample a large amount of cells once. SOLUTION: A cytological diagnosis brush 2 with a cover comprises an operation member 6 for which brush bristles 4 are projectingly provided and a jacket tube 8, and the cytological diagnosis brush 2 with the cover is inserted through a connector 18 from the forceps port 12 into the channel of a flexible tube. On the inner surface of the connector 18, a guide surface 1806, an insertion part 1808, a housing part 1810 and a brush bristle storage part 1812 are formed. The insertion part 1808 is in contact with the jacket tube 18 while holding air tightness with the friction of a degree capable of allowing the movement of the jacket tube 8. The housing part 1810 has the length larger than a slit 14 at the tip of the jacket tube 8 and an inner diameter slightly larger than the outer diameter of the jacket tube 8. The brush bristle storage part 1812 has the length longer than the brush bristles and the inner diameter larger than the diameter of the brush bristles 4. |
