PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To electrolize sea water in a sea water inlet channel so as to prevent ceanic life from sticking to the inlet channel, and simultaneously enable a pump and the like in the inlet channel to be prevented from corrosion. SOLUTION: This device forms a dielectric paint film connected to a direct current source 7 on the inner face of a sea water inlet channel 1 so as to electrolize sea water, and oceanic life is prevented from sticking to the inlet channel by CIO<-> ion generated as a result of this. At this time, a pump 3 is connected to the negative electrode of the direct current source, an electrometer 4 is additionally provided, current flowing to the pump 3 is controlled by a corrosion prevention current control device 8 according to the potential of the pump 3 detected the electrometer 4 so as to keep the potential of the pump 3 at the corrosion preventing potential, and hence the pump can be prevented from corrosion. |
