TOURNIQUET FOR MEASURING BLOOD PRESSURE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a tourniquet for measuring blood pressures which combines with a function of detecting an electrocardiographic induction waveform of a patient by providing a flexible electrocardiographic electrode on the inner circumferential surface to detect an electrocardiographic waveform generated associated with an active potential of a cardiac muscle in a living body. SOLUTION: An arm band 10 is provided with an airing pipe 14 on one long side 12 thereof to supply or exhaust a pressure air in such a manner that a lead 15 for inducing an electrocardiographic induction waveform detected by the conductive arm band 10 is built integrally so as to pass through the airing pipe 14. In the arm band 10, an outer circumference side member 16 whose one side takes the outer circumference side when the band is turned cylindrical at the measurement of a blood pressure is bonded on an inner circumference side member 18 whose one side takes the inner circumference side at a turnover part 20 formed along the long side 12 thereof. The inner circumference side member 18 composes a flexible electrocardiographic electrode with an ideal conductivity made of a carbon fiber contained in an inner circumference layer 62.
