PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide laser beam welding equipment provided with a mechanism to measure the temperature change of a work to be welded in on-line manner, and provided with a system which feeds back the information to a machine and controls the welding condition. SOLUTION: Butted surfaces 6 of materials 2, 3 to be welded are irradiated with the laser beam 1 to achieve the welding along the welding direction 13, and the temperature change is measured by a temperature sensor 7. Thus, a defective deviation generated in the welding process is on-line detected to enable the quality assurance of the total products and to minimize generation of defective welding due to the positional deviation from the target. |
