<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a non-restrictive pulsimeter which is designed enhancing operability, mounting skill, visual recognizability and saving of power by providing the body of the pulsimeter with a pulse wave sensor which is arranged integrally to detect a pulse from a finger. SOLUTION: A pulsimeter 10 has a display section 11 to display a measured value of a pulse rate or the like and is provided with the body of the pulsimeter having a band 12 as mounting means for positioning the display 11 on the back of a hand and a pulse wave sensor 14 built integrally on the body 13 of the pulsimeter. The pulse wave sensor 14 is built integrally on the body 13 of the pulsimeter to be positioned at the root of an index finger in the mounting thereof. The pulse wave sensor 14 herein used is a type made up of a light emitting element and a photoreceptive element or with a strain gauge or the like. The mounting means may be either of a band 12 or glove but it is desired that the pulse wave sensor 14 should be pressed on to the foot of a finger by a moderate pressing force when the body 13 of the pulsimeter is mounted.</p> |
