摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flattening annealing method for obtaining a grain oriented silicon steel sheet excellent in surface characteristic without dents. SOLUTION: In the flattening annealing furnace 1 used to the grain oriented silicon steel sheet, in which a slab for silicon steel sheet is hot-rolled after heating and under condition of as hot-rolling or annealing the hot-rolled sheet, a cold-rolling is executed at one time or two or more times inserting an intermediate annealing and successively, decarburize-annealing is executed and thereafter, a finish-annealing and sequentially, the flattening annealing are executed, a wiping device 6 having a wind-up preventing wall 7 and 2-5mm nozzle diameter, 3-20mm nozzle pitch, is arranged at the position of 30-40mm vertical distance with the steel sheet 4. By this constitution, the grain oriented silicon steel sheet excellent in the surface characteristic without dents and discoloration under condition without exerting adverse effect on a magnetic characteristic.
