PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a priming system enhanced in priming capacity. SOLUTION: The priming system of an ink jet printer having a variable vol. chamber 72 in a fluid system closed to respective printing heads 85 is provided. The vol. of the variable vol. chamber can be changed by manually operating a button like surface discriminated in the priming of the specific printing head 85. An operable surface is bonded to the movable wall 62 incorporated in the variable vol. chamber 72 and the movable wall 62 is biased to the position minimizing the vol. of the variable vol. chamber 72 and the priming system gives tactual sense and hearing feedback showing proper priming function to the operator operating the above mentioned surface. |
