PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To ensure an airbag to easily tear open the seam of a seat cover and swell sideward. SOLUTION: In order to have the side of a seat cover 6 easily broken due to the expansion pressure of an airbag 2, the edge covering part 6b of the seat cover 6 is sewn via a seam 7b to a cover material 10 sewn to a seat surface covering part 6a via a seam 7a for concealing the opening 4 of an airbag case 3, without directly sewing the edge covering part 6b of the seat cover 6 to the seat surface covering part 6a. Also, the cover material 10 is provided with an airbag guide part 11 for restricting the swelling direction of the airbag 2 expanding through the opening 4. Then, stress is concentrated on the seam 7b under the expansion pressure of the airbag 2 swelling under the restriction of the airbag guide part 11 at an initial operation stage, and the cover material 10 is quickly torn open, starting from the seam 7b, thereby opening the edge covering part 6b. |
