<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To generate pure magnesium sulfite by a method in which when sulfur dioxide is removed from a gas flow containing sulfur dioxide, after magnesium hydroxide being added into an aqueous solution containing magnesium sulfite and magnetism hydrogen sulfite, a magnesium sulfite solid components are precipitated. SOLUTION: The aqueous solution of magnesium scrubbing components is added into a recycle tank 5 from a line 7, and an aqueous solution discharged from a scrubbing section 3 is circulated through lines 9, 13. In this process, a gas flow containing sulfur dioxide is packed through a line 17, the first part of the aqueous solution of generated magnesium sulfite and magnesium hydrogen sulfite is led to an oxidation container 25 through a line 23, and the aqueous solution of magnesium sulfate is generated in the container 25. The second part is discharged to a crystallization unit 49, where after magnesium hydroxide being added, magnesium sulfite solid components are precipitated, and is filtered and separated by a filter 55 to obtain high purity magnetism oxide.</p> |
