PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the subject embrocation for injection needle capable of alleviating a sick ache feeling followed by injection, making a local anesthetic directly on a needle wound, by applying the embrocation on an injection needle, consisting essentially of the local anesthetic. SOLUTION: This embrocation for injection needle comprises mainly a local anesthetic (preferably an amide type local anesthetic such as lidocaine hydrochloride or dibucaine hydrochloride). The objective embrocation can be generally prepared by dissolving the local anesthetic as a main solute in distilled water for injection. The concentration of the embrocation obtained as the embrocation is preferably 2-4%. When the embrocation is used together with a vasoconstrictor such as epinephrine, a blood vessel around a needle is immediately constricted, preferably the local anesthetic is prevented from being diffused into tissue and diluted with blood. When the embrocation is used with a humectant, vaporization of water, etc., from the embrocation can be preferably prevented. When oils and fats are used as a solvent for the embrocation, preferably injection with less pain can be actualized by lubricating action. |
