PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To lower a coefficient of friction to the dye receptive layer of a back coat layer on a photographic paper for thermal transfer while widely inhibiting the generation of phenomena such as offset and double image transmission and also preventing a scarring phenomenon from occurring. SOLUTION: This photographic paper 1 for thermal transfer consists of a dye receptive layer 3 formed on one side of a sheet-like base material 2 and a back coat layer 4 formed on the other side. The back coat layer 4 contains an organic filler with a grain diameter of 0.5-30μm, and has an average surface roughness of 0.3-3.0μm. |
