PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inexpensive pressure regulating device which can decrease the gradient of a pressure regulating value with respect to a flow rate so as to regulate the pressure at a constant, and to provide a high pressure pump device using thereof, and to provide a fuel supply device using the high pressure pump device. SOLUTION: A pressure regulating device is composed of a valve seat 2 having a fluid inlet 2b formed in a side surface thereof and a predetermined tapered part 2c in the upper part thereof, a pipe 2A having a fluid outlet 3a in a side surface thereof, for pressing the valve seat 2, and a valve 4 movably provided in the pipe 3A and having a tapered part 2c at a position confronting the tapered part 2c. The fluid outlet 3a in the side surface of the pipe 3A is located at a position where it does not affect the flow of fluid flowing through a passage extending from the fluid inlet 2b and defined by the tapered part 2c of the valve seat 2 and a tapered part 4b of the valve 4. |
